THE ABC TRAVEL GREEN BOOK

In a world where our history was purposefully left out and sometimes even erased, the ABC Travel Green Book helps travelers realize that people of the African Diaspora are everywhere! This resource can tell you things search engines can’t! Yes, there are Black people in Yemen. Yes, there are Black people in Turkey. Yes, the next time you take a trip to Quito travel further up north and spend a day with the Afro-Ecuadorians also known as the Esmeraldas. Want your hair braided in South Korea? The ABC Travel Green Book can help you. Are you interested in the Black history tour in Israel? The ABC Travel Green Book has you covered. This resource was created to celebrate Black culture and serve our communities. ASSOCIATION OF BLACK TRAVEL PROFESSIONALS

The Association of Black Travel Professionals (ABTP) supports travel professionals through professional development, networking and educational opportunities.  

Their members include individuals and companies that provide goods and services to the travel industry to include, travel agents, hotel and resorts, transportation companies, event planners and much more.

BLACK CULTURAL HERITAGE TOURS

 Powered by Cultural Heritage Alliance for Tourism, Inc. (CHAT), in partnership with the National Blacks in Travel and Tourism Collaborative, Black Cultural Heritage Tours curates local and immersive Black cultural heritage tour itineraries, experiences, and connections to the people and places that have shaped community and culture from the past to the present. As the only Black-owned receptive tour operator in the U.S., CHAT’s focus on Black-owned businesses and attractions levels the playing field for small businesses while creating transformative experiences for culturally curious travelers to learn about history and celebrate the rich diversity of Black culture in the U.S. and all over the world.

BLACK OWNED MEDIA EQUITY AND SUSTAINABILITY INSTITUTE (BOMESI)

The Black Owned Media Equity and Sustainability Institute was created to unite and advance Black-owned media businesses, educate the public on the importance of these platforms, and provide resources to support. 

BLACK TRAVEL ALLIANCE

The Black Travel Alliance was created to encourage, educate, equip and excel black travel professionals in education, media, and corporate positions. With their three pillars, alliance, amplification, and accountability, they unify to amplify as travel authors, bloggers, broadcasters, journalists, photographers, podcasters, social media influencers, and bloggers.

BLACK TRAVEL SUMMIT

The Black Travel Summit's mission is to support, expand and enhance the voice of Black travel industry professionals, entrepreneurs and travelers. They pursue this undertaking by creating entertaining and educational events, bridging Black entrepreneurs and businesses with the overarching tourism industry, and cultivating a professional ecosystem.

BLACKS IN TRAVEL AND TOURISM COLLABORATIVE

The National Blacks in Travel and Tourism Collaborative has worked to become a resource partner for the global travel and tourism industry. Working in partnership with with DMOs, tourist boards, travel media and associations, they strive to help build sustainable DEI practices to ensure our industry builds back better by supporting efforts to advance Blacks in travel and tourism, while creating equitable opportunities for local stakeholders in underserved communities while broadening diversity and inclusion in destinations worldwide.

NOMADNESS TRAVEL TRIBE

NOMADNESS Travel Tribe represents the voices and industry impact of black and brown travelers. They are the travel influencers, innovators, and community members that make up this movement. They are a tangible travel family of over 25,000 black and brown nomads, responsible for over $50,000,000 being injected into the travel industry annually.
