The Collective is a global group of Black travel writers and reporters, lifestyle and hospitality publicists, magazine owners, TV personalities, and industry leaders. The Collective serves as space for both seasoned professionals and those new to the industry to come together to share our collective experience and support each other.

Heather Greenwood Davis and Sarah Greaves-Gabbadon collaborated to developer a Black History package for TripAdvisor worthy of a year-round read. 'No slave narratives, no tragedies, no victims. We wanted to showcase the beauty of Black people travelling. Historic homes transformed into modern day inns; products that will suppprt Black artisans and museums that showcase their work; Musicians leaning into global inspiration and designers rocking European fashion strongholds. We wanted #BlackJoy and we found it. The writers we tapped for this section delivered stories that will whet your appetite for travel and offer up great ways to use your wallet while you wait for the world to open up again. This concept shouldn’t be earth shattering or barrier breaking, but it is.'
